Side Door Cafe

This place is great for lunch.  We haven’t been there for dinner yet, so we can’t say, but it’s a nice but casual spot that is uniquely decorated (and chalkboards in the bathroom which can be good or bad, depending on your perspective).  We never do, but kids should split a dish if not ordering a kids meal (if you haven’t noticed, our guys never order off the kids menu except for Verde Cocina and their cheesy eggs).  Pictured here Lowell is enjoying the tuna cheddar melt.  They do very large, cheesy, crabby, shrimpy, tuna – whatever – it’s going to be large and cheesy.  Don’t bother with an appetizer, as tempting as it may be.  They also have some pasta, salads, and quesadillas etc., but we always go for the large, dripping cheesy sandwiches.  Aidan and Lowell like the food, but the colorfully decorated restaurant keeps them happy while they wait.
